We're excited to share the upcoming Meddbase update with you, designed to provide a more engaging and personalised experience. We've been hard at work this month to make sure your journey with Meddbase is streamlined, stress-free, and tailored to your needs.

Due to the Bank Holiday we'll be releasing the next update to your Meddbase system on Tuesday 30th of May at 22:30 GMT for our UK and EU customers, and on the Wednesday 31st of May at 02:00 CST for our US and Canadian customers.

 
IMPROVEMENTS
Clear Cancellation Policy Text

We’ve updated the cancellation policy text for Meddbase users and patients via the portal, to clearly outline who will be charged for a cancellation, and under what circumstances. The new text promotes transparency, minimises confusion, improves user experience, builds trust, and ensures compliance. 

 

CUSTOMISED CONTENT

Introducing structured template support for online payment emails

Easily impress your patients and elevate your brand image with the ability to change the content of online payment emails when patients pay invoices via the portal based on factors such as the patient’s employer or their insurer. This delivers a more personalised and professional experience.

 

 

PERFORMANCE BOOSTS

Blissful Billing rules

We are proud of our sophisticated billing rules and this month we are making them even better:

Unlock more automation with our improved Billing Rules for multiple cancellations or DNA rules

If you have complex billing and cancellation rules this one is for you. With our latest update, you can now effortlessly include multiple cancellation and DNA rules, even with different payers, in a charge band. This allows you to automate more of your billing cycle, simplifying and streamlining your workflows and reducing errors.

 

 

And last but not least…

Correcting the refunding service credits bug

We have squashed a pesky bug that was causing some Service Credits not to be refunded when they should be returned when appointments are marked as Did Not Attend. Our fix will give a seamless refunding experience for your clients and patients.

Excluding hotfixes, our maintenance windows are as follows:

UK & Europe: Mondays and Wednesdays after 22:30 BST/GMT.
USA & Canada: Tuesdays and Thursdays after 09:00 GMT (03:00 CST) and after 09:00 BST (02:00 CST).

All releases will be scheduled after 22:30 BST/GMT unless otherwise stated. A brief period of downtime can be expected with these times.
