Meddbase offers the facility for patients to be marked as deceased. This is set within the Personal details of a patient record under the status field.
However once this is done, they need to be located using a different search format.
From the Start Page, find patient is selected. Once this screen loads there is a section of the search form listed as 'Status'.
Here there is the ability to search any patients where their status has been set as 'Deceased'.
Once this status has been altered the patient can be searched for using the normal search method e.g. name, ID etc.
