What is the context?


Meddbase automatically tracks all actions performed on documents, including when they are viewed, modified, deleted, or restored. This feature helps ensure transparency and accountability by recording a detailed history of document activity.

Please note, viewing document history is a permission governed by the Document Certificate.

This article explains how to view the recorded history of a document, including details of who made changes, what changes were made, and when they occurred. It helps users understand how to track document actions for better management and auditing purposes.

Viewing History on a Document


Any time a document is viewed, modified, deleted or restored this action is recorded. To view the recorded history of a document, click on the document you wish to explore. Once this has loaded in the preview window click the ‘History’ button on the top bar.

You will be presented with a list of all actions regarding this document since the documents creation. Clicking on an action will reveal more information on the action such as when the change was made, what the change and who made the change.
