When a new pathology result is received, members of the ‘Pathology Result Administrators’ role group will be alerted and a new ‘Pathology Result’ task will appear to the left hand side of the Start Page. Click here to view all pathology results currently being processed by your clinic.
Clicking on a new pathology result will allow you to process the result. On the top bar you will have the following options:
- Go to Patient Record
- Go to Result in Medical History - for reviewing the result.
- Show/hide review notes - this allows you to take some notes about the pathology result
- Share with the patient - to share the result with the patient via the Patient Portal
- Actions - here you will find various actions to allow you to raise a query about the result or accept the result.
