Meddbase May 18th Release Notice

There's even more reason to be excited about the beginning of May; there will be an update to your Meddbase system rolled out on Monday the 18th. Keep reading to find out more about the latest changes and additions.

Masterful Meetings

As part of our ongoing commitment to support our customers during this unprecedented situation, we're expanding the functionality of the Meetings feature in Meddbase.
We're deploying a brand new meeting platform, from which you can add attendees both from within and outside your organisation, and use either a teleconsultation or good old fashioned phone conversation to communicate.
The platform also includes the ability to collaborate directly within the meeting, allowing attendees to create and share documents, share their screens and keep a record of any conversations for posterity.
The feature is free to enable and calls will be charged per minute. For more information, please contact our Support Team.

Revamping Vidyo

For any customer using the Vidyo integration to continue to communicate safely and effectively with patients while social distancing, we're deploying an updated user experience to improve the accesibility of Teleconsultations.
Patients will no longer have to make confusing choices when joining a teleconsultation, and we've expanded the platforms which can utilise the telemedicine integration, among other Quality of Life improvements.
The best news is that we don't even need to wait until the release date for these changes, which will be deployed as soon as they are ready!

Reasonable Referral Rejections

When you have to reject a referral, particularly an Occupational Health referral, it's often important to provide some meaningful reason to help the referrer understand the process. Looking at this at a company wide level, it's equally important to be able get sensible reporting information about these events, to be able to spot any trends which may need addressing.
To help with this, we'll be adding a new setting to the Occupational Health and Incoming referrals work sections, to allow administrators to specify a standardised list of reasons for referral rejection.

Driving Dependability

Every release gives us an opportunity to continue to improve the performance and stability of Meddbase and tackle any bugs which may have cropped up. This time is no exception! If you spot something that doesn't look right, see it, say it, sort it.

Happy to help.
