What is the context?
Meddbase allows for many different methods of payment, and also allows for the addition of payment types to your chamber. More information about payment types can be found here: Adding New Payment Method/Type.
However there may be some instances where a payment method will need to be hidden, rather than deleted, and therefore not visible to the user handling the invoice.
What is the purpose of the article?
This article will guide you through the necessary steps that need to be taken in order to hide a payment type.
Hiding a payment type
To hide a payment type, you will need to navigate to Start Page> Admin> Configuration> Accountancy.
From here you will see the 'Hide payment types' selection.
Should we have screenshots be made using the normal theme configuration? most screenshots are using the main theme so for continuity? What are your thoughts?
By clicking on where it shows 'None selected' in the above image, all payment methods available in your chamber will show in a list.
Selecting a payment type will hide it in your chamber, multiple payment types can be selected from here.
Remember to save any changes by clicking 'Save' in the toolbar at the top left of the screen, underneath the breadcrumb trail.
