Welcome to the latest edition of the Meddbase customer newsletter - rounding up our product and service news and announcements.

This edition covers our new look Helpdesk, highlights the trending feature request on UserVoice and gives you a first look at an exciting new feature being piloted to give prescribing clinicians true paperless prescribing.

We also continue our Staff Spotlight series on Meddbase's customer-focused team members, by introducing you to our Head of Client Delivery, Rob Nobrega.

Introducing The New Look Helpdesk

We're giving the Meddbase Helpdesk a refresh, with a new look and feel, to improve your experience of finding the information you need.

Don't worry, the navigation options will remain unchanged, and all the answers and articles you expect to find on our help centre will still be fully accessible, but with a more streamlined design.

In the new design the ability to submit a request is still in the same place, you can continue to use the search box to locate the relevant article, plus you can view common answers to your query as well as our announcements.

Our team have also been working behind the scenes to add new content to the library and update articles to reflect the latest product features.

You will see this change take place on Tuesday 12th October.

Don't forget we have also recently launched a new status page where you can see real time updates on all scheduled and unplanned system maintenance.

Trending UserVoice Feature Request -
Blocked Off Diary Slots

Would you like the ability to block off slots in your Meddbase schedule to set aside time for non-appointment-based reasons, such as lunch, annual leave or for other options? Do you agree that this feature would be a useful addition for Meddbase users? Would you like to see these time slots marked in different colours for clarity?

If you like the sound of this, or have other feature requests, you can suggest or upvote them in UserVoicemake your voice heard by voting for features that matter to you and your business, and we will do our part in prioritising the feature in our development cycle.

Paperless Prescribing Pilot

We are excited to announce the start of the pilot phase of our new ePrescription dispensing and delivery service, which has been designed to operate seamlessly within the Meddbase ePrescribing process.

The new service will simplify and expedite the prescription fulfilment process using electronically-signed prescriptions, sent to our dedicated pharmacy partner automatically with a single click from within the patient record.

The new feature will remove the need for follow-up signatures and offer dispensing and dispatch using the fastest possible delivery options - including an option for same day courier services.

Following the pilot, this feature will be available to all customers in early 2022 - if you'd like more information please contact your Account Manager.

Meddbase Company Day

One of the highlights of this quarter has been the opportunity to get our entire team together in person for the first time since the pandemic.

Over the last two years Meddbase has gone from strength to strength and as part of our continuing expansion we have added many talented staff members to our growing team - so we were especially pleased to be able to welcome some of these new faces to our company event in central London last month.

We were lucky enough to spend one of the sunniest days in September outdoors with the majority of our colleagues in attendance, as we took part in a day of team building activities to promote cross-departmental collaboration.

We were honoured to be a finalist at the HealthInvestor Awards, held in London last month, having been shortlisted for our pioneering work on an NHS-compliant integration to enable public and private sector healthcare organisations to share digital patient records.

While we didn't take home the award this time, we are proud of our team's achievements and their commitment to advancing interoperability within healthcare technology.
