We're doing this for a number of reasons, one of which is that Vidyo will be dropping support for newer browser versions from January 2022 - you may find that some of your users or patients are unable to use Vidyo if they use Google Chrome and update to version 97 (set to be released in January 2022) or beyond.
In anticipation of this change, we've written an article that lays out the differences between the two systems here.
When the new integration goes live, you'll be able to enable and start using it any time. We expect Vidyo to stop supporting their vidyo.io service in 2022, and we'll continue to support it as long as they do. We recommend that our Telemedicine customer move over to Twilio as soon as possible.
Moving to Twilio is a simple process that you can control via configuration, and we'll be releasing a full guide on how to do so in the coming weeks on our helpdesk.
