Hello everyone,

Here's what's coming in our next product release, scheduled for Monday, 29th July 22:30 GMT (UK/EU) and Tuesday, 30th July 02:00 CST (US/Canada).

Improved Patient Portal Module Selection

We have updated the Patient Portal to prevent patients from accidentally skipping the module selection step when booking appointments.

Previously, patients could bypass this step if they started a search for appointments that did not require module selection and then switched to one that did.

The portal will now correctly prompt patients to select a module when necessary, ensuring a smoother booking process.

New Template Code for Itemised Service List

Introducing two new template codes for displaying itemised service lists in your documentation:
  • {Appointment.Services.Table}: Returns the service names and prices.
  • {Appointment.ServicesSafeNames.Table}: Returns the service 'Safe Names' and prices.
These codes will display all services, including those with zero cost, and are supported when generating documents or emails via an appointment.

For further information and other template codes for appointments please see our Knowledge Base article.

Better Audit Logging for Patient Service Credits

You will now see clearer and more visible logs of changes to a patient's service credit allocation. This provides a transparent view of all changes made and allows you to see in the audit log when a service credit was changed by a user, or consumed by a booking, offering better tracking and accountability.

Accurate Xero Invoice Post Dates

Sending an invoice to Xero using 'today's date' will now correctly reflect the same date in Xero as it does in Meddbase, ensuring consistency and reducing discrepancies in your financial records.
