We'll be releasing the next update to your Meddbase system on the 31st of January. Below you'll find some details of the upgrades you can look forward to.

Precise Payments

Following this release, users with the Opayo integration can differentiate between e-Commerce and telephone payments.

Taking an e-Commerce transaction will continue to require secure authentication/3DS, but if your Opayo account is setup to allow telephone transactions, the Meddbase integration will allow you to process this precise type of payment without the need to provide 3D Secure authentication.

Meddbase users will have the option to select either the MOTO or e-commerce transaction type when making a payment in Meddbase.

Patients making a payment via the Portal will not need to choose a transaction type; this will be e-commerce by default.

Categorical Credits

When booking appointments via the Meddbase Patient Portal, patients will now be given more accurate information if they are using a Service Credits Rule.
If a patient unsuccessfully attempts to book an appointment because they don't yet have a credit, they will now be given a helpful on screen message informing them when their Service Credits are set to renew.

Bounteous Bookings

Even more updates are coming to the booking workflow via the Patient Portal.

If your patients are booking modules which require more than a single attendee, the 'Allow Online Booking' flag on all of those attendees' sessions will now be respected (instead of just the Primary clinician's). This will give you tighter control over which sessions patients can book into.

As with every release, we're taking the opportunity to squash bugs, improve performance, and ensure the highest levels of reliability.
