Hi everyone,

We have a lot of updates this month to improve how you manage payments, document sharing, and configuration settings in Meddbase, giving you greater flexibility. 

REPORTING
New ‘Requesting Profile’ column in Order Requests
 
You can now report on the Requesting Profile directly from the Order Requests root table, useful for tracking who requested what, and when.
PAYMENTS
Better control of saved card charges with Opayo

We've improved how Meddbase handles saved cards with Opayo. Now, when cards are removed or replaced, associated tokens are also cleared, this helps to prevent unwanted recurring charges.
 
Improved reliability for recurring membership payments

Recurring payments now repeat from the last successful transaction rather than the original one—reducing the chances of payment failure and keeping memberships active without interruption.
FEATURE FLAGS REMOVED
Additional Booking Data now configurable

We’ve replaced the feature flag for Additional Booking Data with a new setting in Admin > Config > Chargeable Features, making it easier to access and manage. 

Portal link emailing from OH documents now configurable

We’ve removed the feature flag for the feature that lets you email secure links to Occupational Health documents via the OH portal.

It’s now controlled by a config setting in Admin > Config > Online Portal.

This feature allows you to send a link to a document on the OH portal, instead of emailing the document itself, to key users such as department managers, assigned Health & Safety Managers, or a specific named user.

It’s a useful way to share sensitive content securely without relying on attachments. If you had this feature enabled before, it will remain active.

Administrative reminders now managed via config
 
We’ve removed the feature flag and replaced it with a configuration setting in Admin > Config > Booking. If you already had this feature enabled, it will remain active with no changes required.

This feature adds a custom Administrative Reminders text box to a company’s homepage. When booking an appointment for a patient linked to that company whether as an employee, insurer, or school etc a modal will appear showing the reminder text. It’s a helpful way to surface company-specific instructions or notes during booking.
 
Refund match settings now always visible

We've removed the "Enable refund match settings" feature flag so the related options are now always available. Existing settings will remain unchanged so if you had them enabled they will still be enabled.
