We'll be releasing the next update to the Meddbase system on the 30th of May for our UK and EU customers, and the 31st of May for our US and Canadian customers.

Below you'll find some details of what exactly we'll be releasing.

Boundless Booking Contacts

From this release we're expanding the Booking Confirmation Letter feature. It now allows users to manually send a copy via email to an email address of their choice. This gives you more control over where confirmation emails go in instances where it's not just the patient who requires a copy.

We've published some detailed Guidance Notes on what the feature will do and how it can be used. If you are interested in enabling this setting, please get in touch with your Account Manager.

Shipshape Document Sharing

Additionally, we're expanding how you can share notifications of documents being shared with Occupational Health Portal users - if you want to alert users to the fact that you've shared a document with them, you'll now be able to send a notification to either the relevant Department Managers, the Health & Safety Manager, or any email address of your choice.

Again, if you're interested in how to enable or use the feature, there are detailed guidance notes, and you can enable the feature by contacting your account manager.

Illimitable Imports and Refined Reporting

There has been a bevy of new functionality added to both the Import and Reporting layers this month. We've documented all of them in our Ongoing Release Notes post so you can dig into the detail at your leisure!

Resolute Reliability

As with every release, we're taking the opportunity to squash bugs, improve performance, and ensure the highest levels of reliability. If you spot something that doesn't look right; see it, say it sort it (or send us a support ticket).

Excluding hotfixes, our maintenance windows are as follows:

UK & Europe: Mondays and Wednesdays after 22:30 BST/GMT.
USA & Canada: Tuesdays and Thursdays after 09:00 GMT (03:00 CST) and after 09:00 BST (02:00 CST).

All releases will be scheduled after 22:30 BST/GMT unless otherwise stated. A brief period of downtime can be expected with these times.
