The next Meddbase release is planned for the 29th of November, when we'll be taking the opportunity to make some improvements to the application. Read on to find out more.
Polished Passwords
Password resets are getting a refresh with this release. We've written about the changes in more detail in this Helpdesk Article, but the headline here is that Meddbase users will now be prompted to set their own password after a reset request is sent to them by a Meddbase Administrator. You won't need to do anything to enable this change, it will happen automatically following the new release.
Dazzling Diagnoses
We're making an improvement to the way you can import Diagnosis Codes in this release. Recently we improved the Diagnosis Code feature to allow searchable multi-level lists, and with this release we're improving it again, adding full import support so that you can create large, complex lists of diagnosis codes containing multiple 'levels' of code, with a single import.
Sneak Peek: Upcoming change to 'Allow Online Booking' behaviour
We're planning on making a change to the way the 'Allow Online Booking' setting works for clinicians who are not the primary attendee for appointments which require more than one resource. This might affect the way you schedule your staff, so we recommend reading our Helpdesk Article on the subject well in advance of the release date to get the most out of the new options. The change won't be going live until 31st January 2022 at the earliest, and we'll let you know as soon as there is a definite release date for the change.
